The self-awareness that CBT promotes quickly identifies and eliminates negative thoughts, emotions, and limiting beliefs. That may be holding them back.

How does hypnosis work
Hypnosis can work for most people, but some are more susceptible to suggestion than others. Being fully committed to the process and feeling that you can trust your hypnotherapist is key. When we are in a relaxed state, our unconscious mind becomes more susceptible to suggestion. This means that when a hypnotherapist invites us into this state and uses suggestion techniques, our thought patterns and behaviours are encouraged to change.

Can anyone be hypnotised
When being hypnotised, you are always aware of the process and in control of what you reveal during the session. The aim is to assist people in finding meaningful alternatives to their present unsatisfactory ways of thinking, feeling or behaving. Although there are different techniques, clinical hypnotherapy is generally performed in a calm, therapeutic environment. You will be guided into a relaxed, focused state and asked to think about experiences and situations in positive ways that can help you change the way you think and behave.
